Die Espressomaschinenmarke Rancilio stellt auch verschiedene Kaffeemühlen her, die Kaffeemühle auf dieser Seite ist eine aus der MD-Serie. Dies ist die Kaffeemühle Rancilio MD80, das größte Modell der MD-Serie. Diese Art von Kaffeemühle wird als Dosiermühle bezeichnet. Bei dieser Art von Kaffeemühlen ist an der Vorderseite der Mühle ein Kaffeedosierer installiert, in dem sich eine begrenzte Menge gemahlenen Kaffees befindet.

Auf der Oberseite des Mahlwerks befindet sich der quadratische Kaffeetrichter, bei der MD-Serie sind diese in einer bläulich transparenten Farbe ausgeführt. Von dort die Kaffeebohnen zu den Mahlgraten. Diese Fräser sind vom flachen Typ und haben einen Außendurchmesser von 75 mm und einen Innendurchmesser von 43 mm. Der untere Mahlwerkhalter drückt den gemahlenen Kaffee in Richtung des Dosierers an der Vorderseite der Kaffeemühle.

Dieser Dosierer hat ein transparentes Visier, ebenfalls mit der gleichen bläulichen Farbe. Von dort kann der Kaffee in den Siebträger ausgegeben werden. Ziehen Sie dazu den Dosierhebel an der Seite des Dosierers. Die Kaffeemühle beginnt automatisch zu mahlen, wenn eine bestimmte Menge Kaffee ausgegeben wurde.

Diese Kaffeemühle, die MD80, ist in verschiedenen Ausführungen erhältlich. Es gibt eine einphasige Version mit 110 und 230 V und eine dreiphasige Version mit 400 V. Das einphasige Modell benötigt einen Startkondensator, um die Kaffeemühle zu starten, dies ist bei einem 3-Phasen-Motor nicht erforderlich.
