Op deze productpagina vindt u een ruime keuze aan espressomachine niveau sondes. Een niveausonde is een staafje dat zich bovenop de ketel of op de flens bevindt en detecteert of het water in de ketel de sonde raakt.

Wanneer het water de sonde niet raakt, gaat de waterinlaatklep open en begint de pomp te draaien (niet bij elk merk en model). Zodra het water de niveausonde raakt, sluit de klep en stopt de pomp. De niveausonde wordt gebruikt in combinatie met een niveauregelaar en een doseerapparaat.

Er zijn verschillende soorten niveausondes. Het belangrijkste is de probe stick, deze probe stick is gemaakt van RVS en heeft een vlakke plek voor een connector. De afdichting die hiervoor wordt gebruikt is een PTFE-mof. De fittingen zijn een binnen- en buiten. De binnenste wordt gebruikt om de sondestok op een vaste plaats te bevestigen en de buitenste voor inbouw in de ketel.

De niveausonde is te vinden in vele lengtes, gaande van 80 mm tot 155 mm. sommige zijn gebogen met bijvoorbeeld La Cimbali. Het hoofdschroefdraadtype is ¼”BSP-G. Maar merken als La Cimbali gebruiken 1/8”BSP-G. Er is één merk, Bezzera, dat een metrische M10x1-schroefdraad gebruikt.
