The group itself is a solenoid valve operated brewing group, it has on the side of the group a 3 way solenoid valve. This brewing group uses a shower screen of 60mm which is friction fit held in place, so not with the “standard” Cimbali groups with a screw in the middle. The portafilter gasket size in the brewing group has a outer diameter of 74mm a inner diameter of 58mm and a thickness of 8mm.This group is used on various La Cimbali espresso machines, but this does not mean that the “standard”portafilter will fit. So the standard portafilter does NOT fit.
