In the hopper on top of the grinder you place the coffee beans, the hopper used on the Anfim Lusso has a square shape. This is not really a common shape. From there coffee beans go towards the grinding burrs. If you want a finer or a coarser grind of your coffee you need to turn the upper burr holder clock or counter clockwise to increase or decrease the distance.
The grinding burrs used on the Anfim Lusso coffee grinder are flat grinding burrs. These have a outer diameter of 64mm and a inner diameter of 37mm. the turning direction of these grinding burrs is left.
From the grinding burrs the ground coffee is pushed, with the help of the bottom grinding burr holder, towards the doser. In the doser the coffee is stored up to the moment it is used. You can dose the ground coffee with the help of the lever on the side of the doser. Place your portafilter underneath the doser in the portafilter fork and fill you filter basket. On the front of the doser is a tamper installed so that you can tamp the coffee right away.
