Macap 

The Italian brand Macap is also one of the more famous coffee grinder brands. This brand has been there for more then 3 generations, dating pre world war two. 

This brand has a variety of coffee grinders in their assortment, these coffee grinders can be used for various brewing methods such as espresso, French press and pout over coffee.

For these types of brewing methods there are a variety of coffee grinders in the assortment of Macap. Ranging from the traditional doser coffee grinders to the “on demand” coffee grinders.

For the “on demand” coffee grinders you have various models such as the Macap M2 series, Macap Leo,  Macap M120, Macap M140, Macap MXD and the Macap M7D coffee grinder. The more traditional models are the Macap MX, Macap M7, Macap MXK and the Macap M42 coffee grinder. 

The coffee grinders of the Macap brand have been fitted with mainly flat grinding burrs, such as the Macap Leo, Macap M140 and the Macap MXd. But there are also models equipped with conical grinding blades such as the Macap M7D, Macap M7K and the Macap MXK. This are mainly the more expensive versions.

This brand does(did) also build coffee grinders for various espresso machine manufactuers such as Elektra and La Spaziale.
