The San Marco espresso machine brand has not a lot of styles of heating elements. There are in total 3 types of heating elements used on the boilers of La San Marco.
The most common heating element flange used on La San Marco espresso machines is the triangular shape heating element. Traditionally these always where brass flanges, but nowadays you wil also find stainless steel versions. These flanges are 82x82mm and have a distance between the holes of 61mm. these types of heating elements are used on the San Marco 95, San Marco 105, San Marco 80, San Marco 85 and the San Marco 20-20 Classic.
The next model is the oval shaped heating element flange. This flange is 75x50mm and the distance between the holes is 59mm. This model of San Marco heating element is used on models such as the San Marco 95 Practical, San Marco 85 Spring and the single group San Marco 105.This heating element is sealed of with a flat gasket which is 50x40mm.
The last model of heating element is a slightly older type of element. This is a San Marco heating element which goes true the boiler flange and is fixed with 2 nuts. You will find this model of heating element only on the older San Marco espresso machines. Newer models don’t use this principle.
