The Cimbali Magnum When Requested The coffee grinder is a commercial model. The grinder can be outfitted with either conical or flat blades for coffee processing. The flat grinding burrs have a 63.50mm outer diameter, a 38mm inner diameter, and a 9mm thickness. The grinding burrs have an outer diameter of 47/31.8mm and an inner diameter of 31,8/10mm. The thickness of each burr is 20 millimetres.
A 300-watt motor drives the coffee-grinding burrs. In the case of the On demand model with flat grinding burrs, you can choose between a single phase or three phase motor. In the case of a coffee grinder with conical grinding blades, single phase power is the only option. For the single phase version, a start capacitor is required; otherwise, the motor will not start.
The Cimbali Magnum On Demand offers two control alternatives for the grinder. Or with a panel of press buttons on the front of the grinder, or a touchscreen in the same location. On both displays, you can choose to grind for one or two cups of coffee. You only need to press your portafilter against the microswitch located behind the portafilter tine.
Multiple options are available for adjusting the coarseness of ground coffee. Some models have a shaft protruding from the coffee grinder's body. This adjusts the coarseness of the ground coffee by increasing or decreasing the distance between the grinding burrs. With the Bluetooth feature, the On Demand coffee grinder's back-mounted, compact electric motor adjusts the distance between the grinding burrs.
The most recent models of the La Cimbali Magnum on demand feature the BDS system, also known as the Barista Driving System. With this option, you can press one of the coffee grinder's sensors for a single dose, double dose, or continuous grind.
