The Spaziale S8 espresso machine uses a variety of electrical components. Which electrical components are used on the S8 depends on which version it is. Seen the Compact, EK and EP versions of the S8 require different electronic components.
What is the EP and EK version? The EP model is the non volumetric model and the EK version is the volumetric model.
The S8 espresso machines are fitted with electronic temperature strip which indicates the boiler temperature. This strip doesn’t exist on the S8 Compact espresso machine. For the EP version every brewing group is fitted with a start stop button. For the EK model is each group head fitted with a touch panel for various coffee selection options.
Other electronical components you wil find on the S8 are a contactor, safety thermostat, solid state relay(SSR), flowmeter and a dosing device/level regulator. Not all parts which go on the standard S8 are compatible with the S8 Compact.
