Die Mazzer Major Espressomaschine ist eine der kommerziellen Kaffeemühlen, die die Firma Mazzer baut. Dieses spezielle Modell ist die elektronische „Elettronico“-Version des Mazzer Major. Das bedeutet, dass dieses Modell nicht mit einem Vorratsdosierer an der Vorderseite der Kaffeemühle ausgestattet ist, sondern dass es sich um eine „On Demand“-Kaffeemühle handelt.

Die Elektronik von Mazzer Major wird in einer Vielzahl von Konfigurationen hergestellt, die von 100-115 V bis zu 220-240 V reichen, meistens einphasig. Das bedeutet, dass Sie einen Anlaufkondensator für den Motor benötigen, im Vergleich zu den 3-Phasen-Motoren, bei denen Sie diesen nicht benötigen.

Auf der Kaffeemühle haben Sie einen großen transparenten Trichter. Von dort werden die Kaffeebohnen den Mahlscheiben zugeführt. Die bei der Electronic-Version verwendeten Fräser sind flach mit einem Außendurchmesser von 83 mm und einem Innendurchmesser von 49 mm. Von dort gelangt der gemahlene Kaffee zum Drahtsieb zum Trichter an der Vorderseite der Kaffeemühle.

Auf diesem Trichter ist ein Touchpanel installiert, auf diesem Touchpanel haben Sie 2 voreingestellte (die angepasst werden können) Dosiseinstellungen. Eine für eine einfache und eine für eine doppelte Kaffeedosis. Diese Dosen werden basierend auf einem internen Timer eingestellt. Auf der Rückseite der Mühle ist ein interner Lüfter installiert, um die Kaffeemühle/das Mahlwerk im Inneren der Mühle zu kühlen.
