The item on this page is a OEM/Original Bezzera spare part. This item is a double portafilter with the modern Bezzera handle. The Bezzera part reference number for this item is 5965587.01R.

This portafilter is made from casted, machined and chrome plated brass. The spout used is one of open type, which makes cleaning easier. The ear orientation for this portafilter is 45 degree and the thickness of the wings is 5,5mm. This portafilter does not come with the spring, nor with the filter basket.  This item is made in Italy.

This portafilter can be used on various Bezzera espresso machine models. But NOT on the E61 style of brewing groups. If you are not sure which model you have do contact us.

Can I use any double portafilter for my espresso machine? insert_link

No you can’t. even if you have a Cimbali double portafilter which is suitable for instance Cimbali brewing groups, this would not mean that it will fit. What thread types are used on a double portafilter body? insert_link

In most cases the double spouts use a 3/8” BSP-G thread, but some portafilters also use a metric M16 spout. For the complete overview check out our portafilter spout product page.

How do I clean my double portafilter? insert_link

Well this is quite easy. Remove the filterbasket, this can be done with a IMS removal tool. Then put your portafilter body into a container with puly caff and let it soak for a while. Prevent that the handle is in contact with water. You can clean the double spout with a round Brooks cleaning brush.
