La Spaziale - Brewing group

The design of the La Spaziale brewing groups is quite unique.  In the basis the brewing groups are all the same. This is the case with the section where the portafilter locks into and where the solenoid valve is located. So on all these groups you can use the same portafilter gaskets and the same portafilters. Besides that there are 3-4 different versions. This mainly has to do with the HX/boiler behind the brewing group.

The most common brewing group is the La Spaziale group with the HX boiler attached to it. This type of brewing group can be found on a variety of La Spaziale models such as The Spaziale S5 Compact, Spaziale S8 Compact, Spaziale S2, Spaziale S5, Spaziale S9, Spaziale S40, Spaziale S1. Note: there are 2 models of heat exchangers, a small and a big one.

Then you have the brewing groups which have a heating element installed in the brewing group boiler. You do have 2 types of heating elements, a flanged one and one without a flange. These brewing groups can be found on the Spaziale S1 and the Spaziale Professionale.
