La Spaziale - Portafilter

The portafilters used on the espresso machines of La Spaziale are different then most portafilters.  The portafilters on La Spaziale espresso machines are smaller then the standard portafilters which hold the 70mm filterbaskets. The filterbaskets used on La Spaziale portafilters have a diameter of 25mm.

The La Spaziale portafilters have a ear orientation of 90 degree. The thickness of the ears of the portafilter are 6mm. This portafilter can be used on any La Spaziale brewing group like the ones used on the Spaziale New, Spaziale S1, Spaziale S2, Spaziale S3, Spaziale S40, Spaziale S5, Spaziale S8 and so on.

The portafilter of La Spaziale are available in 3 versions. 1 coffee portafilter, 2 coffee portafilter and a bottomless version. The 1 coffee portafilter can hold approx. 7 grams of ground coffee in the filterbasket. For the 2 coffee portafilter, which has a fully open spout. This filterbasket can hold approx. 14 grams of ground coffee.
