Rocket Mozzafiato Evoluzione R boiler

The boiler in the Rocket Mozzafiato Evoluzione R is quite a standard type of boiler configuration, which can be found on a variety of espresso machine brands.  The type of boiler is a heat exchanger (HX) which is oriented horizontally.

The HX is placed diagonally inside the espresso machine boiler. The heat of the water inside the steam and water boiler is used to rapidly heat up the fresh water used for brewing coffee. To heat up the water in the “main” water boiler there is a small heating element installed horizontally. This element is available in a 115V and a 230V version and in both cases they produce 1200W.

The boiler has been fitted with a variety of components such as fittings, tubing, vacuum valve, level probe and a temperature sensor. As a safety feature you have 2 thermostats and a safety valve installed on top of the boiler.
