This portafilter is one suitable for 2 coffee. The spout used is a open model for easy cleaning.  The thickness of the ears is 6mm and they have a 90 degree orientation. This portafilter does come with a filter basket which can hold 12 grams of ground coffee. This portafilter is made in Italy.

This portafilter can be used on the San Remo Torino, San Remo Verona, San Remo Zoe and the San Remo Compact.

Can I use any double portafilter for my espresso machine? insert_link

No you can’t. even if you have a Cimbali double portafilter which is suitable for instance Cimbali brewing groups, this would not mean that it will fit. What thread types are used on a double portafilter body? insert_link

In most cases the double spouts use a 3/8” BSP-G thread, but some portafilters also use a metric M16 spout. For the complete overview check out our portafilter spout product page.

How do I clean my double portafilter? insert_link

Well this is quite easy. Remove the filterbasket, this can be done with a IMS removal tool. Then put your portafilter body into a container with puly caff and let it soak for a while. Prevent that the handle is in contact with water. You can clean the double spout with a round Brooks cleaning brush.
