On this page you will find a boiler safety valve 3/8” male with a present of 1,8 bar. This safety valve is, at own responsibility, adjustable. This can be done by tightening or untightening the Allan key slot in the top of the valve.

Inside this safety valve has a stainless steel spring inside, the sealing material is FKM. This is a non certified safety valve. It is advisable to replace this valve every single year, seen this is the last safety on your espresso machine if all the safety items have failed.

This specific type of boiler safety valve can be used with the brands: Spaziale, Vibiemme

When you select your safety valve, make sure that you have the right fitting, they can range from ¼ up to ½” BS. Don’t forget the right pressure setting, seen these can also range from 1.5 up to 2.0 bar.

Can I use the Bezzera BZ10 espresso machine for commercial purposes? insert_link

We would not advice to do so, seen the capacity is too little to proper function in a bar or a restaurant. For a small office this espresso machine would be a good solution, as well as the use in a kitchen.

What kind of temperature control mechanism does the Bezzera BZ10 have? insert_link

Well this does depend on how old your Bezzera BZ10 is. Seen you have 2 model versions. There is a pre- 26-06-2010 and a post 27-05-2010 version. The older type is in it’s original configuration isn’t available anymore, for this is a relay rebuild kit available which is the same as the new model.

What kind of brewing group does the Bezzera BZ10 have? insert_link

This model of Bezzera espresso machine is fitted with a solenoid operated Bezzera ring brewing group, so it hasn’t been fitted with a E61 style of brewing group.

Is the Bezzera BZ10 espresso machine fitted with a water tank or a main water connection? insert_link

The Bezzera BZ10 espresso machine is fitted with a water tank, from this tank the water is pumped, with a Ulka vibration pump, towards the brewing group and into the boiler. So you won’t be able to fit a main water connection to this espresso machine.

How do I check the pressure of my Bezzera BZ10 espresso machine? insert_link

The Bezzera BZ10 has been fitted with a double scale pressure gauge, or manometer. So you will see 2 needles, one is for the pump pressure and the other is for the boiler pressure. The boiler pressure goes from 0 up to 3 bar and the pump pressure goes from 0 up to 16 bar.
