The portafilter on this product page is a 2 coffee portafilter which can be used on a variety of Vibiemme brewing groups. This is the case for the commercial and the domestic espresso machine models.

This portafilter has a double spout. The ear orientation is 90 degree and the thickness of the ears is 5,5mm. The portafilter comes with a stainless steel spring and 14 gram filter basket. This portafilter is made in Italy.

You can use this portafilter on the Vibiemme Domobar, Vibiemme Domobar Super, Vibiemme Domobar Junior, Vibiemme Cubo, Vibiemme Lollo, Vibiemme Replica, Vibiemme Evolution, Vibiemme Revolution.

Can I use any double portafilter for my espresso machine? insert_link

No you can’t. even if you have a Cimbali double portafilter which is suitable for instance Cimbali brewing groups, this would not mean that it will fit. What thread types are used on a double portafilter body? insert_link

In most cases the double spouts use a 3/8” BSP-G thread, but some portafilters also use a metric M16 spout. For the complete overview check out our portafilter spout product page.

How do I clean my double portafilter? insert_link

Well this is quite easy. Remove the filterbasket, this can be done with a IMS removal tool. Then put your portafilter body into a container with puly caff and let it soak for a while. Prevent that the handle is in contact with water. You can clean the double spout with a round Brooks cleaning brush.
