The compression spring on this page is mainly used with the steam and water valves on the Astoria and Wega espresso machines. But it has also multiple purposes in the steam valve. This item is a OEM/Original item. The Astoria part number is 10452 and the Wega part number is WY10465.

This compression spring is used to put pressure on the shaft gasket (Astoria 12204, Wega WY12204). But it is also used as a resistance for the steam wand. If you let the steam wand go that it will remain in it’s place.

The compression spring itself has a outer diameter of 11,4mm and a overall length of 16mm. The spring has been made out of stainless steel.

You can use this this compression spring on models as the Astoria Divina, Astoria Gloria, Astoria Perla, Astoria Rapallo, Wega Colosseum, Wega Concept, Wega Orion Eco and the Wega Start.
