On the Astoria Divina espresso machines there are steam and water valves installed. These are mainly manual valves, but it is also possible that the water valve is solenoid operated.
The manual valve used on the Divina is a standard type of manual valve, used on most models of Astoria CMA. This valve is opened by turning the valve knob counter clockwise and if you want to close it you need to turn it clockwise. This type of valve uses a shaft of a 109mm, seen there are various shafts lengths for Astoria espresso machines. The valve is fitted with a swivel joint, so you can turn the steam tube a full 360 degree.
For the water valve you have a manual and a solenoid operated valve. The manual valve is the same valve as the one used on the steam valve. But the water outlet does not have a swivel joint, this is fixed in place. The solenoid operated valve is activated with the push of a button.
