The steam and water valves on the San Remo Milano LX espresso machines is a combination of manual and solenoid valve operated valve. The steam valves are operated manually and the water outlet, for the tea, is a solenoid operated valve.
The manual steam valve on the Milano LX espresso machine is a universal type of steam valve which is used on a variety of espresso machine brands. Note: for this valve you have 2 universal types a conical model and a flat one. These are not interchangeable with each other. This valve has a swivel joint steam tube, this makes it possible to orient the steam tube in various directions.
The water outlet, for the tea water, is a electronic valve. This valve is operated with a 2 way solenoid valve. The outlet is fitted with a swivel joint, to move it a bit. In the bottom of the outlet is a wire filter installed for small debris.
