The item on this product page is a double portafilter in the style of the modern Bezzera portafilters. You can only use this portafilter on the E61 style of brewing groups used by Bezzera. This specific portafilter is fitted with the iconic original Bezzera portafilter handle. The portafilter body has the Bezzera part reference numbers 7479930 and 7479972.01TW 

The portafilter itself has a ear orientation of 90 degree. The wings on the portafilter have a thickness of 6,3mm. The portafilter is fitted with a double open spout, this open spout makes cleaning the portafilter easier. The portafilter has been made in Italy,

Can I use any double portafilter for my espresso machine? insert_link

No you can’t. even if you have a Cimbali double portafilter which is suitable for instance Cimbali brewing groups, this would not mean that it will fit. What thread types are used on a double portafilter body? insert_link

In most cases the double spouts use a 3/8” BSP-G thread, but some portafilters also use a metric M16 spout. For the complete overview check out our portafilter spout product page.

How do I clean my double portafilter? insert_link

Well this is quite easy. Remove the filterbasket, this can be done with a IMS removal tool. Then put your portafilter body into a container with puly caff and let it soak for a while. Prevent that the handle is in contact with water. You can clean the double spout with a round Brooks cleaning brush.
