This filterbasket is made by the Italian company IMS filtri and comes from their latest series “Big Bang”, which is also part of the Competition series filterbasket. This specific model is called the B702TFH21.5BB

This filterbasket has a outer diameter of 70mm and a body diameter of 60mm. The tamper which you can use is or a standard 58mm model or a 58,5mm. The perforated section is in a diameter of 49mm and has in total 497 holes in the BIG Bang pattern which have a diameter of 0,3mm.  This filterbasket is made in Italy.

This type of filterbasket size is the most common one, you can use this filterbasket with brands such as Faema, Slayer, Synesso, San Remo, Nuova Simonelli, Rocket and a lot more brands. If you are not sure if it is compatible, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Can I use any filterbasket in my double portafilter? insert_link

No you can’t. The most common size of double filterbaskets has a diameter of 70mm. This is found on for instance Faema and Nuova Simonelli portafilters. The 68mm is typical for Cimbali espresso machines. Where you have smaller sizes for La Spaziale and San Marco portafilters.
