Rocket Mozzafiato Evoluzione R steam tap

Even though the Rocket Mozzafiato Evoluzione R is a domestic espresso machine, you will still find commercial espresso machine features on it. Such as a steam and water valve.  The steam valve/tube is used for frothing up milk and the water tube is used for hot water for a Americano or for just making tea.

On this Rocket Milano espresso machine you have on the left side the steam valve and on the right side the water outlet. This valve can be opened and closed by turning the valve clock and counter clockwise. In the valve handle you can see the letter R, of the Rocket Milano brand.

Both the steam and the water tube can be rotated 360 degree. Once you have found your ideal position you can just leave it there, seen it will remain in it’s same orientation. This valve does have very limited gaskets to seal off the valve. There is one flat gasket to seal off the valve from the boiler and 2 small o rings to seal off the valve shaft once the valve has been openend.
