This coffee grinder is a so called Doser grinder, this is a coffee grinder which has a small storage container for ground coffee.
The coffee is put in the hopper on the top of the grinder, in this case it is a square hopper instead of a round one. From there the coffee will flow towards the grinding burrs. The distance between the burrs can be adjusted by turning the upper grinding burr clock or counter clockwise.
The grinding burrs used on this Anfim Special 450 Automatico are of the flat type. They have a outer diameter of 75mm and a inner diameter of 43mm. The turning direction of these burrs is left.
When the coffee has been ground it is pushed towards the doser on the front. In this doser there is a certain amount of ground coffee stored, ready to use.
