There are 4 products.A pressure switch is one of the most important components on a espresso machine, this is also the case with the Gaggia brand. These types of pressure switches are with Gaggia normally only used on domestic lever espresso machines or on commercial espresso machines.
What does a pressure switch do? When a boiler is powered on and starts to heat up, you will get a pressure build up inside the boiler. To make sure that the heating stops at a certain pressure, you place a pressure switch. This is mechanical switch which opens a circuit once it reaches a pre-set pressure.
The pressure switches used on Gaggia espresso machines are off the shelf pressure switches. For the smaller models you have the pressure switch from Ma-ter XP110, rated up to 16A. For the three phase models you have the Asco(Sirai) and Parker pressure switches.
