The La Pavoni Pub ES is a espresso machine with only 1 brewing group. This brewing group is from the E61 Style type. There are a lot of similarities between all the E61 style of brewing groups, but also a lot of differences. This group head works in the following way. You pull the lever down, the top valve opens, bottom valve closes and the pump is activated. Once the brewing process stops the pump stops, the top valve closes and the bottom 2 valves open to release the remaining water.
The portafilters used on this brewing group are from the standard commercial type of La Pavoni and are interchangeable between the brewing groups. These have a ear orientation of 45 degree and a thickness of 5,6mm. The portafilter gasket used on these group heads have a outer diameter of 73mm and a inner diameter of 57mm. the shower screen used on this model of brewing group is attached with a screw in the middle and has a diameter of 56,5-57,5mm.
