The steam valve is a manual operated valve, when you turn it clockwise it will close the valve and counter clockwise it will open it. This is done by pushing a small stem which is attached to a valve gasket holder. This gasket seats against the body of the steam valve. The steam tubes used on the S1 dream can be different. There is a standard version and a US version. The US version has 4 of 3 and have a diameter of 1,2mm vs 1,5mm.
The water valve on the La Spaziale S1 Dream is a solenoid valve operated valve. This means that it is activated with the push of a button. The solenoid valves are 2 way valves and they can be a 220/240V or a 110/120V version. The outlet is a swivel joint and is fitted with a replaceable outlet.
