Microswitch

Brewing group microswitches are not that common anymore as they used to be used on manual brewing groups. Nowadays you see them mainly on the Faema E61 and E61 style of brewing groups. These groups can be found on espresso machines such as the Vibiemme Domobar, Vibiemme Replica, Rocket Appartamento, Rocket Giotto Cronometro.

What does a manual brewing group lever microswitch do? When you lower the lever of the brewing group the microswitch is activated and this activates the pump. When the lever is raised the microswitch is deactivated.
