On this product page you will find a Gicar flowmeter, what does a flowmeter do? Well if you have a timed touch panel, this flowmeter measures how much water is passing true. This is measured with a small wheel inside the flowmeter.

This flowmeter is made by the Italian company Gicar and also made in Italy. This models grounds to it’s own body directly and it has a small LED flashing when in use.

The inlet and outlet port have female ¼”BSP-G threads. In the fittings is also a orifice of 1,15mm. This flowmeter is also NSF certified.

Which espresso machine brands use this type of flowmeter. This type of flowmeter is used by La Marzocco, Promac and Rancilio.
