Loxeal 18-10 is a high-performance, white anaerobic liquid sealant tailored for securing metal threaded connections. This versatile product is suitable for use with natural gas, LPG, compressed air, gasoline, oils, water, and a variety of chemicals and industrial fluids. Its thixotropic consistency ensures it stays on the thread, resisting migration before and during curing. Designed as a modern replacement for PTFE tapes and cords, it features a low friction coefficient for smooth assembly.

Curing & Use

The adhesive cures when trapped between closely fitted metal surfaces and deprived of air. It achieves handling strength in 1–3 hours and is fully cured in 24–36 hours. Curing speed is influenced by joint gap, materials, and temperature. For passive metals or cold environments, use Loxeal Activator 11 to accelerate the cure. Once set, the sealant provides an elastic, vibration- and shock-resistant seal, and the joint can be disassembled easily even after prolonged service.
