Loxeal 53-14 is a reliable, medium-strength anaerobic sealant for hydraulic and pneumatic threaded connections up to ¾ inch and small pipe fittings. This brown adhesive replaces PTFE tape, providing robust seals for gas, water, LPG, oils, hydrocarbons, and many chemicals. Certified for gas use (EN 751-1, DIN-DVGW), it offers exceptional resistance to heat, corrosion, vibration, and mechanical shock.

Curing Details

Handling strength is typically achieved in 1–3 hours, with full cure after 24–36 hours. The actual curing speed depends on surface type, gap size, and ambient temperature. For quicker curing on passive metals or in cold conditions, Loxeal Activator 11 is recommended.
