What does 18/8 and 18/10 mean? The first number stands for the percentage of Chromium and the other number of nickel.
So stainless steel 18/8 (304) contains 18% of chromium and 8 % of Nickel. Stainless steel 18/10 (316) contains 18% of chromium and 10% of nickel.
