Description

This item is called a blind membrane filter. This membrane does have a similar function as the standard stainless steel blind filters, but is used in combination with a standard double filterbasket.

How do you use this rubber blind filter? You put this blind filter membrane in a portafilter with a double filterbasket. Put some cleaning detergent, like Puly Caff, in the basket and install the portafilter in the brewing group as you normally use the portafilter. Run the cleaning cycle and clean the portafilter.

This blind filter membrane is made from EPDM rubber. The diameter of the filter membrane is 50mm, in the middle of the membrane a small edge where you can pull out the membrane from the portafilter. This membrane is made in Italy.

You can use this membrane on various espresso machine brands such as Astoria, Carimali, Casadio, Cimbali and Faema. The part reference numbers for this item can be found in the extra info tab.
