Bilt Nical 450 water filter

This kind of water filter is the kind that is installed within the water tank of an espresso maker or coffee maker. The Bilt Nical 450 has an outer diameter of 40.5 millimetres at its base, but only 30.2 millimetres at its apex, which houses the hose fitting. The full length of the filter, except the hose fitting, is 80 millimetres. The hose fitting has an outside diameter of 6 millimetres.

The Nical 450 is this series' lesser model, hence it has a smaller capacity. The Bilt Nical 900 is the larger water filter model.

After installation, this water filter has a lifespan of up to 18 months, albeit this is dependent on how much water has passed through the filter. At a water temperature of 18 degrees Celsius, this filter can filter 75 litres of water. The Nical 900 is the filter to use if you want one that can handle more liquid at the same temperature. 150 litres can fit through this filter.
