Diffuser and holder

On this product page you will find a wide selection of diffuser plates. What is a diffuser plate? Well a diffuser plate diffuses the water and in some cases it is also used to fix the shower screen too. This not always the case.

There are different types of diffuser plates in various shapes and sizes. They have one thing in common, almost every one of them is made from brass. This can be casted or be machined.

How are the shower holder/diffuser screens installed? In some cases they have a male thread and they screw inside the brewing group. Other shower screens use a screw to fix them to the brewing group.

The shower screens can be installed in 2 ways. Or with a screw inside the middle of the shower screen which fixes the shower screen to the diffuser screen. This is for instance the case with La Cimbali and Gaggia shower screens. Or with a press fit of the shower screen, this type is used on brands such as Faema, San Remo, Rocket and Bezzera.
