Procon Flange pump 180 L/H with small shaft

This Procon rotation pump is slightly different then most pumps made for the espresso machine market by Procon. This pump is only suitable for a selection of coffee machine brands. The Procon part number for this item is 112T060F123B130

As mentioned earlier this is a bolt on espresso machine pump. The motor has a flange with bolt holes in in it. You only have to loosen the bolts so the hooks can grab behind the threads and then tighten the bolts. And your done.

This clamp on pump has a flow rate of 180 L/H and has been fitted with a balanced bypass. The brass fittings on this pump are 3/8” conical NPT fittings. Instead of the ones used with Fluid o tech and Nuert 3/8” BSP.

You can adjust the pump pressure with the scre on the side of the pump. When you screw it in the pressure increases and when you unscrew it the pressure decreases.

The Procon pump has also been nsf certified.

The shaft used on this a lot smaller then with “standard” espresso machine pumps. You will only find this type of shaft with the brands of the La Cimbali group. So with coffee machine brands like Casadio, La Cimbali and Faema.

A other thing which is unique to this type of pump is that it uses a pump coupling to transfer the rotation from the motor to the pump. This 40mm coupling(for a Faema E61 legend it is a 35mm coupling). These metal couplings inner and outer are connected to each other with a rubber disc inbetween.
