How to find the correct commercial faucet or replacement part
Start with the information on the existing faucet, rinse system or removed component. A manufacturer, OEM or component reference is normally the strongest identification point. If no reference is available, identify the system type and installation before comparing measurements.
A practical selection order is OEM or component reference → faucet or rinse-system type → manufacturer and series → exact installation or equipment application → mounting configuration → hot/cold/mixed-water function → thread and connection interface → dimensions, reach or hose length → component-specific specifications → OEM/original or compatible → product.
A matching thread diameter, faucet style or physical appearance alone does not confirm compatibility.
Select the faucet or rinse-system type first
This category contains several types of professional water-system components. A complete mixer faucet, pre-rinse hose, ceramic cartridge, spray gun and wall-mounted hose reel each use different technical selection criteria.
Identify whether you need a complete faucet, faucet internal component, hose, spray head, pre-rinse assembly, hose reel or other accessory before comparing dimensions or connections.
Complete commercial kitchen faucets
For complete mixer taps and pre-rinse systems, browse Complete Commercial Faucets. Start with the manufacturer or product reference and determine how the faucet is installed.
Relevant specifications can include deck, wall or floor mounting, single-hole or two-hole installation, centre distance where relevant, hot/cold or mixed-water configuration, inlet thread size, connection gender, spout height, spout projection and lever type.
A faucet with a similar overall appearance is not automatically suitable for the same sink or worktop. The mounting holes, inlet arrangement and available installation space must correspond.
Single-hole and two-hole installations
Single-hole and two-hole faucets use different mounting arrangements. For two-hole installations, the distance between the connection centres is an important specification in addition to thread size.
For single-hole mixers, verify the mounting-hole requirement, fixing system and inlet connections. Do not assume that two single-hole faucets are interchangeable solely because they fit through a similar worktop opening.
Thread size, gender and connection type
Threaded water connections must be compared as a complete interface. Verify the nominal thread size, male or female connection, thread standard where stated and the required sealing or swivel arrangement.
A 1/2" male connection is not interchangeable with a 1/2" female connection. Likewise, the same nominal thread size does not automatically confirm suitability if the coupling, thread form, swivel or seal arrangement differs.
When replacing a component, compare both sides of the connection where the part has an inlet and outlet.
Pre-rinse hoses
For replacement spray and pre-rinse hoses, browse Pre-Rinse Hoses. Begin with the faucet or rinse-system reference and then compare the complete hose interface.
Relevant specifications include overall hose length, hose diameter or DN where stated, connection size and gender at both ends, swivel fittings, protective covering and intended system.
Do not select a replacement hose by length alone. Two hoses of 1100 mm, for example, can still use different end fittings or coupling arrangements.
Pre-rinse spray heads and spray guns
For hand-held spray components, browse Pre-Rinse Spray Heads. Start with the part reference and exact rinse system before comparing the visible shape of the spray head.
Verify connection size, male or female thread, hose or swivel coupling, trigger or valve configuration, flow specification where stated and any locking or continuous-flow function.
A spray head with a common 1/2" connection is not automatically universal. The connection interface and intended hose or system must also correspond.
Wall-mounted hose reels
For retractable or wall-mounted professional rinse systems, browse Wall-Mounted Hose Reels.
Identify the manufacturer, reel series and complete installation before comparing hose length, inlet connection, outlet or spray-gun connection, mounting arrangement, reel mechanism and replacement-hose interface.
Replacement hoses, spray guns and reel components should be matched to the specific reel system rather than selected as generic faucet accessories.
Faucet accessories and internal components
For ceramic cartridges, valve inserts, foot controls, drain components and other service parts, browse Faucet Accessories.
Different accessory types require different identification criteria. Always begin with the exact system or component reference and then compare the specifications that determine the mechanical interface.
Ceramic cartridges and valve inserts
For mixer cartridges, diameter is only one specification. Also verify the overall cartridge height, stem or pin dimensions, lever interface, locating features, rotation or hot/cold function and exact mixer application.
A 42 mm or 47 mm cartridge should not automatically be replaced by another cartridge with the same nominal diameter. The stem, locating geometry and internal operating interface must also correspond.
For ceramic valve inserts, verify whether the valve is intended for hot or cold water where specified, as well as the rotation direction and thread or mounting interface.
Foot-operated faucets and mixers
Foot-operated systems can use individual cold-water valves, separate hot and cold pedals or mixing assemblies. Identify the required function before comparing pipe connections.
Relevant specifications can include number of pedals, cold/hot/mixed-water operation, inlet and outlet thread sizes, connection gender, flow rate, locking function and floor or equipment mounting.
The same nominal connection size does not make different pedal-valve configurations interchangeable.
Spouts, levers and mounting parts
For replacement spouts, handles, levers, screws, seals and swivelling components, start with the faucet manufacturer, series and component reference.
For spouts, compare connection or swivel diameter, projection, height, bend geometry and outlet configuration. For handles and levers, verify the cartridge or valve-stem interface in addition to the physical shape.
Small mounting components such as screws, washers and seals should also be matched to the intended faucet series rather than selected only by approximate dimensions.
Drain taps and drain components
The wider faucet assortment can also contain drain taps and drain assemblies used on sinks, boiling pans or professional washing equipment. These should be selected by their own equipment application and connection interface.
Verify OEM or component reference, equipment type, thread size and gender, drain diameter, mounting or swivel nut, gasket arrangement and safety-lock configuration where applicable.
A drain tap should not be selected as if it were a normal water-supply faucet simply because both products use a nominal inch thread size.
Faucet and rinse-system manufacturers
When the manufacturer is known, use the brand together with the product reference and series to narrow the selection. Relevant Brooks Parts manufacturer routes include Klarco and Monolith for professional faucet, pre-rinse and hose-reel systems.
Zanussi can occur as an equipment manufacturer or application brand for water, rinse and washing components. The equipment manufacturer and the actual manufacturer of a replacement faucet component are not necessarily the same company.
Manufacturer filter and product compatibility
The manufacturer filter should not be interpreted as a complete list of every manufacturer or application brand appearing in the product assortment. Some products can be used with equipment or faucet systems from other brands without those names being assigned as the product manufacturer.
Where available, distinguish equipment manufacturer → faucet or rinse-system manufacturer → exact series → component manufacturer or reference → technical interface.
OEM/original and compatible faucet parts
The assortment can contain both OEM/original parts and Compatible (non-original) replacements. Product origin, manufacturer reference and system compatibility should be treated as separate information.
A compatible hose, cartridge, spray head or faucet component can replace a manufacturer reference without having been produced by that manufacturer.
For either origin, verify reference → exact faucet or system → component type → complete connection or mounting interface → dimensions and functional specifications → origin before ordering.
Before ordering a commercial faucet or faucet part
Verify the available manufacturer or OEM reference, exact faucet or rinse-system type, installation method, mounting configuration, thread size and gender, relevant dimensions and component-specific interface.
For complete faucets, check mounting and inlet configuration. For hoses, check length and both end connections. For spray heads, check thread and coupling. For cartridges, check diameter and stem geometry. For hose reels, verify the exact reel series and hose interface.
Do not assume that components are interchangeable because they share the same nominal thread size or look similar. For other professional catering and food-service equipment parts, return to HoReCa Spare Parts.
