This assembly is part of the Rancilio C-lever steam valves. This C-lever mechanism is a original/OEM Rancilio part. The Rancilio part number for this item is 10701240.

This mechanism is for the left hand side (LH). This is not suitable for the mechanism on the right hand side (RH)

What is the C-lever system? This is mechanism designed and patented by Rancilio. If you push the C-lever down on one side it will lock itself in the fully open position, so you will get full steam power. The other side you can gradually set the steam pressure, so your c-lever valve will open only a certain percentage.
