Every espresos machine brewing group uses a shower screen. You can choose between a standard model of shower screen, or can go for a competition shower screen. The competition shower screen on this page is made by IMS Filtri.. This is the IMS part GA35WM.
The shower screen on this page has a outer diameter of 55 mm. a central hole of 5mm for a M5 screw thread. The first holes are punched into the stainless steel. 120 holes in total of 2,5mm. Underneath that you will find a membrane of 35µm.
Which brands use this type of shower screen? Not a lot. They are only used with Gaggia and Saeco espresso machine brewing groups. Like the Gaggia Baby and Gaggia Classic.
