The brand La Spaziale was founded in 1969, where they opened a factory in the Italian city of Bologna. The brand is known for their domestic as well as their commercial espresso machines. Technically the models such as the S1 Dream and the S1 Vivaldi are not domestic espresso machines, but you do see them quite often in that application
The brand La Spaziale offers also a variety of coffee grinders, which appear to be a variety of rebranded models. They use models from Mazzer, Fiorenzato and Macap. But they sell a variety of bar equipment as well. Such as dishwaters, Ice makers and a variety of barista accessories.

The heating elements used on La Spaziale espresso machines are unique to the brand. They can be divided into 2 categories. The vertical heating elements and the horizontal heating elements. The vertical elements can be found on the smaller S1 series, which use a vertical boiler. In this case the flange of the boiler is the flange of the heating element. In the case with the horizontal heating elements, which are more common. The element has a smaller flange, which is bolted to one side of the heating element.

La Spaziale mini Vivaldi II
The La Spaziale S1 mini Vivaldi II is one of the smaller coffee machines La Spaziale produces. This is a volumetric espresso machine, which means that it has a touchpanel on the front where you can select various types of coffee. What makes this coffee machine different from the regular Spaziale Vivalid II, it does not have a fixed main water. It is fitted with a water tank which can be accessed from the front.
It is a really compact espresso machine with a single vertical boiler. But is has been fitted with a steam tube and a water outlet. The water outlet is controlled with the touchpanel on the front of the espresso machine.
La Spaziale S2
The La Spaziale S2 espresso machine comes in a variety of sizes and configurations. This is a full commercial coffee machine, if you compare it to the S1 models. This model comes in configurations from 1 up to 3 brewing groups. So you can use it in a small bar or in a big restaurant if you need to.
They are available in a non volumetric and a volumetric version, as well as a tall cup version. Which ideal for take away coffee. So if you have the Spaziale S2 EK or the Spaziale S2 EK Spazio, you will find a Spaziale espresso machine which is ideal for your bar.

The La Spaziale S5 espresso machine is one of the bigger models La Spaziale produces. They range from 1 brewing group all the way up to 4 brewing groups. In this case the configurations are similar to the versions of the S2. They are available in a non volumetric and a volumetric version. Which can be a tall version (S5 EK TA) or a regular one the S5 EK. But of this model you have also a compact version, so if you require a certain amount of coffee production. But don’t have the space for it, this might work.
