The Mazzer major coffee grinder comes in 2 versions a electronic version and a doser version. On this page you will find the parts for the Doser version of the Mazzer Major. Various parts between these coffee grinders are interchangeable.
The doser version of the Mazzer Major can store a certain amount of ground coffee in the doser on the front of the coffee grinder, the disadvantage of this is that you don’t have such fresh coffee as with the Mazzer Major Electronic.
The coffee beans go from the hopper on the top towards the burrs, note: if you have removed the hopper from the machine the machine won’t work anymore. At the flat grinding burrs, which have a outer diameter of 83mm and a inner diameter of 49mm. After the coffee has been ground it goes towards the doser. The amount of dispensed coffee can be determined by the pull lever on the side. Once you have the coffee out of the doser on the Mazzer Major you can use the tamper which is fitted on the front of the doser.
The Mazzer major doser version is available in various motor configurations, the most common one is the single phase 220/240V versions and also the 110V models. But in some countries the 3 phase models of the Mazzer Major are more common. The advantage of the 3 phase model is that this type doesn’t require a start capacitor with it.
