The double portafilter on this product page is a OEM/Original Nuova Simonelli spare part. The part reference number for this item are 98005004, 98005022 and 98005024.
This original portafilter is made from casted and machined brass, which has a polished chrome finish. The ear orientation of this portafilter is 45 degree and the wings have a ear thickness of 7mm. The double spout is from the open model for easy cleaning. The portafilter does come with a stainless steel filter basket spring and a 12 gram filter basket. This portafilter is made in Italy.
This portafilter can be used on the Nuova Simonelli Appia, Nuova Simonelli Aurelia, Nuova Simonelli Appia II, Nuova Simonelli Aurelia II, Nuova Simonelli Aurelia Wave, Nuova Simonelli Optima and the Nuova Simonelli Program.

No you can’t. even if you have a Cimbali double portafilter which is suitable for instance Cimbali brewing groups, this would not mean that it will fit. In most cases the double spouts use a 3/8” BSP-G thread, but some portafilters also use a metric M16 spout. For the complete overview check out our portafilter spout product page.
Well this is quite easy. Remove the filterbasket, this can be done with a IMS removal tool. Then put your portafilter body into a container with puly caff and let it soak for a while. Prevent that the handle is in contact with water. You can clean the double spout with a round Brooks cleaning brush.
