The use of brass as the base of a solenoid valve is the standard. But the company ODE now also manufactures the bases from the techno polymer PPS.
This 2 way solenoid valve is a flange model. This flange is bolted against a other machined flat surface and is sealed with 2 o rings. 1 for the inlet and the other one for the outlet. The orifice which lets the water true has a diameter of 1,5mm and is sealed of with a ruby seal. The entire solenoid valve has a NSF certification.
The coil on this specific ODE solenoid valve is a 8W 230/240V on 50/60Hz with the model number BDV08230AY.
The maximum working pressure of this valve is 15 bar and it has a temperature reach of minus 40 degree Celsius and a max of 180 degree Celsius.
This ODE solenoid valve you will mainly see passing by with the La Cimbali group. With water inlet valves used on Casadio(533898300R), Cimbali(533-898-300R) and Faema(533898300R) espresso machines. But you can also use them on the inlet valves on a Vibiemme(ELETELE2VBAEV) espresso machines.
