Astoria CMA shower screen

The shower screens used on the espresso machines of Astoria CMA gave various sizes and designs. In total there are 3 types of shower screen used on Astoria CMA espresso machines. 2 of them are attached with a screw and the other one is a friction fit.

The least shower screen on Astoria CMA espresso machines is the friction fit shower screen. This shower screen is used on the Lever brewing groups of Astoria CMA. This shower screen is also a lot bigger then the standard sizes, with a diameter of 57,5mm.

The smallest size of shower screen is the 48mm version. This shower screen has been build up out of 2 layers of perforations, the sheet metal has 80 holes and over this is a fine stainless steel wire mesh.  The central hole is 5mm in diameter. This size can be used on the Astoria Calypso, Astoria Plus 4 You, Astoria Core, Astoria Sabrina and the Astoria Tanya.

The bigger size of shower screen is the 51,5mm version. there are 2 versions available. 1 is a full wire mesh and the other is a full wire mesh with sheet metal perforations behind it. Both have a hole for a M5 screw. They can be used on the Astoria Argenta, Astoria Divina, Astoria Gloria, Astoria Greta, Astoria Perla, Astoria Rapallo, Astoria Sibilla, Astoria Vania and the Astoria Vintage.

For the screw attached shower screens are also precision/competition shower screens available of the brand IMS Filtri. These shower screens have a finer hole structure then the standard types. In some cases they can also be coated with a Nanoquartz coating for a non stick surface.
