How to find the correct dough stretcher spare part
Start with the information on the machine or removed component. An OEM or manufacturer reference is normally the strongest identification point. If the reference is not known, identify the dough-stretcher manufacturer, exact model or series, component type and component position before comparing dimensions or other technical specifications.
A practical selection order is OEM or manufacturer reference → dough-stretcher manufacturer → exact model or series → version where relevant → component type → component position or function → component-specific technical interface → OEM/original or compatible → product.
A matching brand, dimension, tooth count or appearance alone does not confirm compatibility.
Start with the exact machine and component position
Dough stretchers can use several similar-looking components in different positions. Rollers, gears, scrapers and other parts can differ between upper and lower positions or between internal and external assemblies.
Identify the exact machine and component position before using dimensions to narrow the selection. A part with matching dimensions is not automatically interchangeable when its position, mounting or drive interface differs.
Rollers and roller assemblies
For dough-stretcher rollers, verify whether the required part is a complete roller assembly or an individual roller. Then check the stated upper or lower position, internal or external position, roller diameter, roller length and mounting or shaft interface.
Do not select a roller by diameter alone. Two rollers with the same nominal diameter can have different lengths, positions, shaft arrangements or machine applications.
Where the product specifies a complete roller assembly, compare the complete mounting interface rather than treating the roller dimensions as the only identification points.
Drive belts
For dough-stretcher drive belts, start with the OEM reference and exact machine application. Then compare the belt profile or section, length or circumference, diameter where stated and other drive-specific dimensions.
A matching belt thickness or nominal diameter does not confirm compatibility. Belts with similar dimensions can use different lengths, profiles or drive arrangements.
Machine compatibility and replacement origin should also be checked separately, as a belt listed for a Fimar or Pizza Group application can be a Compatible (non-original) replacement rather than an original part from that equipment manufacturer.
Gears and transmission parts
For gears and transmission components, verify the OEM reference and exact position first. Relevant specifications can include internal or external position, male or female design, number of teeth, outside diameter, bore size, width or height and mating-gear geometry.
Do not select a gear from tooth count alone. Two gears with the same number of teeth can have different bores, diameters, positions or male/female interfaces.
Where a gear is described as upper, lower, internal or external, treat that position as part of the technical specification.
Scrapers and wipers
Scrapers and wipers must correspond with the correct machine, roller position and mounting arrangement. Start with the OEM or component reference and verify whether the part is intended for the front, rear or another specified position.
Then compare overall length, profile, mounting points and the stated dough-stretcher application. Similar length alone does not confirm that two scraper or wiper components are interchangeable.
Switches and electrical components
Dough stretchers can also use switches, control boards and other electrical components. For these parts, begin with the exact machine and component reference before comparing electrical ratings.
Depending on the component, relevant specifications can include switch function, number of poles, contact configuration, voltage, current rating, actuator or label type, connectors, dimensions and mounting arrangement.
The same voltage or current rating does not confirm compatibility. A switch or control component must also match the required electrical and mechanical interface.
Dough stretcher parts by manufacturer
When the equipment manufacturer is known, use the brand together with the OEM reference and exact model to narrow the selection. Relevant Brooks Parts manufacturer routes currently include Fimar spare parts and Pizza Group spare parts.
A manufacturer match alone does not confirm that every listed component fits every dough stretcher from that brand. Continue to the exact model, component position and technical interface.
Manufacturer and machine compatibility
The manufacturer assigned to a replacement part and the machine brands listed in compatibility information are not always the same. A component can be compatible with machines from several equipment manufacturers without being produced by those brands.
Where available, distinguish equipment manufacturer → exact machine/model → OEM or component reference → technical interface → replacement origin.
Machine compatibility should therefore not be interpreted as proof of actual component manufacturer or original-part status.
OEM/original and compatible dough stretcher parts
Brooks Parts can offer both OEM/original parts and Compatible (non-original) replacements. Origin and machine compatibility should be treated as separate product information.
A product carrying an equipment brand or OEM reference in its title or compatibility data should not automatically be interpreted as an original component from that manufacturer.
For either origin, verify reference → exact dough stretcher → component type and position → technical interface → origin before ordering.
Before ordering a dough stretcher spare part
Verify the available OEM or component reference, equipment manufacturer, exact model or series, component type, component position and the technical specifications that determine the interface.
For rollers, compare position, diameter, length and mounting. For belts, compare profile and length. For gears, compare position, tooth count, bore and geometry. For scrapers, wipers and electrical components, verify their own mounting and functional interfaces.
