The Eureka Olympus KR is one of the grinder models the famous Italian grinder manufacturer makes. This type of coffee grinder is a doser coffee grinder, this means that there is a storage doser on the front of the grinder which has pre-ground coffee in it, ready to use.
This model of coffee grinder has been fitted with conical grinding blades, instead of the flat version. These conical grinding blades have a right turning direction. The outer burr has a OD of 68 and a ID of 45mm for the inner grinding burr you have a outer diameter of 49mm and a inner diameter of 13mm.
The Olympus KR coffee grinder comes only in a single phase version, with a 110V and a 220/240V. This type of grinder does require a start capacitor, where you don’t need one with a 3 phase model version.
From the grinding burrs the ground coffee is pushed towards the coffee doser. In this doser there is a certain amount of ground coffee stored. This ground coffee can be dosed by pulling a lever on the side of the doser. After a x amount of pulls the grinder will start for a couple of seconds to fill the doser again.
