The Wega Concept features a multi-boiler system, which includes a large central steam and water boiler as well as individual boilers for each brewing group. Unique Brewing Group and Portafilter
The brewing group on the Wega Concept is different from those on most Wega espresso machines. First, the portafilter size is smaller, with a 52mm diameter group head. This smaller group head is equipped with a small heating element, controlled by a temperature probe, to ensure temperature stability.
The portafilter and filter basket used on the Wega Concept also have a unique design, with an outer diameter of 65mm. This means a standard 58mm tamper will not fit, so users must ensure they have the appropriate size for this model.
