The Faema MC90 coffee grinder is one of the older coffee grinders made by the Italian company Faema. The brand Faema is well known about the espresso machines, but they do also build coffee grinders. This specific version is a Doser coffee grinder. This means that there is a storage container on the front of the coffee grinder where a certain amount of coffee is stored.
The Faema MC90 is fitted with conical grinding blades, instead of the more common flat ones. They have outer diameters of 68 and 49mm and internal diameters of 41 and 11mm. From the hopper the coffee goes true these grinding burrs, the distance between the burrs can be adjusted by rotating the upper burr holder.
From the grinding burrs the ground coffee is pushed towards the doser on the front off the coffee grinder. In this coffee doser is a certain amount of coffee stored, which is ready to be used. This is ideal with high volume bars.
To get a certain amount of coffee you need to pull the lever on the side and a dosage off coffee comes out of the doser.
