La San Marco - Water level

On this page you will find a selection of La San Marco sight glass spare parts. The sight glass is used on a espresso machine to check if there is water inside the boiler. In the past when there was manual filling this was really important that the water level didn´t come underneath the minimum level. Nowadays with the automatic level regulators they are becoming obsolete.

La San Marco has quite a different design of sight glasses in comparison to other brands. There are sight glasses which have a diameter of 30mm, normally this is around 10-12mm.  On for instance the San Marco 85, San Marco 95 and San Marco 105 the sight glass of 30mm(with gaskets) is clamped in between 2 fittings and held in place with a stainless steel tie rod.
