Nipple

The items on this page are brass fittings, in specific nipples. These nipples come in a variety of shapes and sizes, which can be used on various applications. They have one thing in common, they are all male threads.

The sizes range from 1/8”BSP-G all the way up to ½” BSP-G, There are also some fittings which use a Metric size, but this is not really common with espresso machines. These fittings are all made from brass with a low lead percentage (brass always contains lead). It is uncommon that they have been nickel plated.

Most fittings have the same thread on each side, for instance a male ¼” to a male ¼”fitting. But you also have fittings which go to a bigger size, like ¼” to a 3/8” fitting.
