Nuova Simonelli Appia II

The Nuova Simonelli Appia II is the second model of the series of Nuova Simonelli Appia espresso machines. This model of the Nuova Simonelli does have a lot of similarities with the earlier model, the Nuova Simonelli Appia.

This version of the Nuova Simonelli Appia is also available in a SEM and a VOL version. The SEM version is basically a manual version, this machine does not have volumetric dosing and the brewing process needs to be stopped manually. The Vol version is the volumetric version of the Nuova Simonelli Appia II, this version has a touch panel for the selection of coffee types.

Both the versions of the Nuova Simonelli Appia II are available in a 2 and a 3 group version. The 2 group is standard powered with 3000W, optionally a 4500W element. The 3 group version is powered with a 5000W heating element.

Seen this is a older espresso machine, it is possible that not all the electronics will be the same as with the original espresso machine. For the circuit boards it is important to keep in mind that the current compatible PCB’s don’t always look the same but can be compatible if they have the same part reference numbers.
